In June 2020, MediaTek introduced its two new entry-level chipsets – Helio G35 and Helio G25. As their names suggest, the Helio G25 is a downgrade of the Helio G35 SoC. It has some better features than the Helio G25. Now the question is that what better features does the Helio G35 bring than the Helio G25. To know about it here we are going to compare MediaTek Helio G35 vs Helio G25 chipsets.
This comparison will let you to know the difference between the Helio G35 and the Helio G25 chipsets. Read the comparison to know about it. Let’s start.

Helio G35 vs Helio G25: CPU & GPU
Starting the comparison with their CPU, here both have octa-core CPU based on 64 bit memory architecture. Talking about the Helio G35, it has 8 ARM Cortex-A53 Cores operating at up to 2.30GHz while the Helio G25 got 8 ARM Cortex-A53 Cores clocked at up to 2.00GHz clock speed.
Here both have the same CPU architecture but the Helio G35 has better CPU clock speed because of which it performs better in terms of CPU processing.
Speaking of GPU, both have the GPU which is IMG PowerVR 8320. Speaking of the difference which is in their clock speed. The GPU of Helio G35 is clocked at up to 680MHz while the Helio G25 has 650MHz clock speed of its GPU.
So in terms of gaming, also the Helio G35 performs slightly better than the Helio G25.
In this section, both the Helio G35 and the Helio G25 are fabricated on the 12nm manufacturing process of TSMC.
Helio G35 vs Helio G25: Camera, Memory & Display
Speaking of camera features, here the Helio G35 has support for dual cameras of up to 13NO + 8MP at 30fps and single camera of up to 25MP whereas the Helio G25 also supports dual cameras of up to 13MP + 8MP. While in the case of single camera, it has support for 25MP sensor.
Here also both SoCs are the same. Both have support for up to 4GB LPDDR3 RAM clocked at up to 933MHz and up to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM operating at up to 1600MHz. Both support eMMC 5.1 based storage.
In the display section, ther Helio G35 supports up to Full HD Plus(2400 x 1080p) 20:9 displays while the Helio G25 has support for HD Plus(1600 x 720p) 20:9 displays.
Connectivity-wise, both chipsets are the same. Both can provide a maximum downloading speed of up to 300Mbps using LTE Cat.7 and an uploading speed of up to 150Mbps using LTE Cat.13. Both have features such as WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, FM Radio, Beidou, Galileo, Glonass, GPS, QZSS, etc.
