Snapdragon 690 vs Snapdragon 675: CPU & GPU
Talking about the CPU section where both have 64 bit octa-core CPU. Speaking of Snapdragon 675, it has Qualcomm Kryo 460 CPU which integrates 2 ARM Cortex-A76 Gold Cores operating at up to 2.00GHz and 6 ARM Cortex-A55 Silver Cores running at up to 1.80GHz while the Snapdragon 690 got the Qualcomm Kryo 560 CPU which has 2 ARM Cortex-A77 Gold Cores clocked at up to 2.00GHz and 6 ARM Cortex-A55 Silver Cores that can be operated at up to 1.70GHz clock speed.
Here the clock speed of both chipsets is almost same just the Snapdragon 675 has slightly better speed of its little cores while the Snapdragon 690 has better CPU architecture because of which it’s ahead in terms of CPU processing.

Speaking of camera section, here in the Snapdragon 675, you get the Qualcomm Spectra 250L image signal processor which is a 14 bit dual ISP and handles up to 16 + 16MP dual camera. In terms of single camera, it supports up to 25MP single camera at 30fps with MFNR & ZSL, up to 48MP with MFNR and up to 192MP without MFNR & ZSL.
On the other side, the newer Snapdragon 690 has the Qualcomm Spectra 355L image signal processor which is also a 14 bit dual ISP and has support for up to 16 + 16MP dual and up to 32MP single camera at 30fps with MFNR & ZSL. While without MFNR & ZSL, it also supports up to 192MP single camera sensor. So here also the Snapdragon 690 has an upgrade over Snapdragon 675.
Speaking of Snapdragon 690, it supports up to 8GB Dual-Channel, 16 bit LPDDR4x RAM clocked at up to 2133MHz and storage types of UFS 2.1 & eMMC 5.1.
On the other side, Snapdragon 675 also supports the same up to 8GB Dual-Channel, 16 bit LPDDR4x RAM clocked at up to 2133MHz and storage types of UFS 2.1 & eMMC 5.1.
Here also both chipsets are the same, both have the support for Full HD+ displays with a maximum resolution of up to 1080 x 2520 pixels.
This is also the section where the newer Snapdragon 690 is upgraded than Snapdragon 675. Where the SD 675 has Qualcomm Hexagon 685 DSP coupled with Qualcomm Hexagon Vector Processor and Qualcomm All-Ways Aware technology whereas the Snapdragon 690 has the Qualcomm Hexagon 692 Processor paired with Dual Qualcomm Hexagon Vector eXtensions (HVX), Qualcomm Hexagon Tensor Accelerator, Qualcomm Sensing Hub and Qualcomm Hexagon Scalar Accelerator. Here the newer Snapdragon 690 has better AI Features than the Snapdragon 675 because of which it has better AI Processing than Snapdragon 675.
